AmePower's latest patent-pending high-power converter UltraSineTM, is an innovative next-generation converter featuring 1/2 MW of power and multi-purpose design for use across a wide range of topologies.
UltraSine™ plays a crucial role in rolling stock applications, serving as a traction inverter, auxiliary power source, and efficiently handling bidirectional power flow for light rail and heavy rail vehicles, as well as for EV fleet and chargers. The units can be paralleled, delivering up to 3MW per paralleled rack configuration and can be multiplied for limitless power output suiting a variety of requirements. Its compact and lightweight casing is 5x smaller / 7x lighter than traditional converters for rolling stock. Its size, paired with the latest SiC modules or smart IGBTs ensures optimum efficiency and reliability, and provides ease of maintenance due to its plug-and-play modular design.
